Activate listing but then it leaves site

I am tweaking my listings and splitting one into two. I make a copy and do what I need to do and publish the copy no problem. Then I go back to the original listing (which was paid for but inactive), remove the info that I used in the copy listing and when I go to "activate" - publish isn't an option - I get the screen that asks me if I want to leave the site. My changes aren't saved and there's no way to publish. I have screenshots but can't put them here... I did this alot of yesterday so I'm not sure what the issue is. I clear out my cache when I shut down at night so I'm starting with a fresh slate...

Copy the original listing too, make your changes and publish that copy. Then just delete the original.

Alternative, try to use the old listing form.

I'd activate it, then make the changes and save.  Or, as mentioned above, try to use the old form.

I'm perplexed too.............. I am Renewing a listing but making a few changes but that Pop Comes up about leaving site... why is this happening ?

Changing over to the old form will not be available for much longer.   : /

This is something new, it was happening to me as well.

Yep - new weird thing when reneweing. It always asks if you want to leave the page but it actually publishes once you do. Good times.

I just hit "cancel" then hit "publish" again. Usually goes through
