Hi there,
I created a seller's account a couple of weeks ago. I made 4 listings and published them but my account has been suspended since then (there is now a red banner on my dashboard saying it's suspended).
I didn't get any email explaining why and how to fix the issue (I checked my spams). The only messages I get are what seems to be scams, even though they're labelled with the Etsy staff badge. They're asking me my email address in the chat.
I have no idea how to fix that and it doesn't seem possible to ask for help from the Etsy support for that specific issue. The only option is to file an appeal.
Has anyone had the same experience?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Leo
The verbiage on your shopfront implies that you have been permanently closed, not suspended.
What exactly were you selling?
Was it handmade by you? Vintage (over 20 years old)? Supplies to make crafts?
Did you own the rights to the designs or images?
Were you using your own photos?
There are so many things it could have been.
Hi,
I am selling handcarved wooden jewellery. All recently made by me.
All I see is that red banner saying my account is suspended. It doesn't say wether it's permanent or not. All my listings were deactivated by Etsy.
It's possible I did something wrong when I created my listings but I'm suprised I have no infos from Etsy.
@WoodcarvingByLeo your shop is not suspended but is closed.
Thanks for your comments. I will file an appeal, we'll see.
