I’m getting back into Etsy after a long break. There’s a small banner telling me my account is suspended until I sign up for Etsy payments. I did it, verified my bank account, and I see it in my profile. All appears to be well but the banner is still there and I get a sad face when I try to publish any products. Etsy “Help” is useless as it just keeps looping me around to the same pages that don’t help. I can not figure out how to email, chat, or call anyone from Etsy. I think it’s just a glitch but I’m at a standstill until I can get this resolved.

Welcome back, @shellyklein ! Did you check to see if your credit card is expired? Shop Manager - Finances - Payment Settings - Billing tab at the top.
Still seeing Paypal as your only payment method, so you must not be verified for Etsy Payments yet. It could take a while.
I am having the SAME issue! And I can't contact support. It's so frustrating!
Have you done the Plaid verification? It usually takes a few days.
Did you ever get this resolved?
@gigeoxy the original poster's shop is open and looks ok so likely they did. You need to follow the instructions Etsy provides to sign up for Etsy payments. As mentioned above, it can take a while. When talking to Etsy, keep replying in the same message thread. Starting new ones close the earlier ones and put you back into the queue.
@gigeoxy & @AnniebelloPaper The original post is from February 2023!
@gigeoxy if you are looking to restart your old shop from 2012, I would recommend just starting over on a clean slate with a brand new shop and getting up to date with all the latest shop guidelines.
I had something similar happen but it was a scam. My account was verified. Then I received an email that stated I had a sale but it could not be processed and sent to me to fill until I verified the card I had all file. It looked perfectly legit to state with, it was all in the Etsy application. What may it worse, I fell for the story and the scammer took me for $6,200. The very next day they sent me another message in Etsy, but I deleted it, I ignored them. The second message was from a different user. I think I got caught up with the excitement of my first sale and let me guard down. If Etsy has officially verified your account, don't fall for the second request.
sorry to hear this, I hope your bank caught on and blocked the transaction

If you receive an actual order, you will see it in your "Orders and Shipping" section and you will receive an email from Etsy notifying you that you have a sale, and there will be a notification in your dashboard as well.
