Account locked on vacation mode

Has anyone else updated their tax info only to have Etsy put your store on vacation mode? It originally couldn’t verify my tax info and now it has verified it but they still have it on vacation mode. I can not take it off of vacation mode myself I have tried. Also tried emailing and they have no customer service phone for sellers only buyers. I’m so frustrated. Any suggestions are welcome. Thank you!

Since Etsy bot put your shop on Vaca mode - maybe one of these fixes are worth a try?

Another glitch regarding coming back from Vaca mode and not being indexed - first try putting your shop in Vaca mode - then off.  Then try deactivating all of your listings - then reactivate.

Yeah, that link for a "Call Back" is worthless.  I've submitted my number 3 times now.  Every time I get a call, it's just enough to ping my phone and then hangs up before a full ring.

There is NO SUPPORT.
I've been on vacation mode since 12/4/21 and have lost $$thousands in sales.
The irony is they request you to review/update/make changes in your tax information and then penalize you if "something" doesn't match.
They won't say what doesn't match; just that something isn't right.
I've received one email stating they'll be looking into the problem "soon".
The Christmas shopping season will "soon" be over and my Etsy shop will "soon" be bankrupt.
Advice: Start your own website selling platform sooner than later.

Your shop seem got out of vacation mode can you tell us how? After updating my taxpayer info I got stuck in vacation mode too

I'm in the same boat! It's very difficult when they don't tell you what's the next step and you don't even know what to do or how to contact them...

You have to wait until someone gets around to looking at your situation.
In my case, that didn't happen until the middle of January.  Comparing my stats with the previous December and surrounding months, I figure I missed out on $12k-$15k in holiday sales.
I used that "down time" to have another site built.  I named it the same as my Etsy site due to my growing name-recognition.
In hindsight, Etsy was a good starting point for me to get to know about online selling.  In addition to Etsy, my site is growing and I will eventually leave the Etsy platform entirely.  Their mandatory advertising program really irks me as does their "Star Seller" program.
