Not sure if this is the right area to post this, but I tried to find a way to contact Etsy and the prompts kept sending me in circles in the help center. I had another Etsy account with a business that closed during the pandemic. I decided to start fresh on a new account when I started the rebrand and requested that the old one be permanently deleted with my data. I requested this quite a while ago (sometime in 2022) and thought everything was done because I could no longer access the account. I did meet all the criteria before submitting the request.
However, today I received a message from someone saying that my shop link still directs people to my closed Etsy shop with my old business name, logo, profile picture, name, etc. on it. The only difference is there's no listings and it says I'm not currently selling. I may just be confused, but whenever I've requested data deletion from other companies, that meant every last piece of information. Why is mine still there?
