I know this isn't the place to reach Etsy, but I am feeling desperate and hope someone from Etsy will see this. I accidentally deleted by best seller listing the other day (argh....) when editing my shop. I immediately got a hold of customer support, it was amazing I saw the chat button and I was able to chat with someone right away and told him my problem. He chatted with me awhile and said he was going to give it to the tech team and they would email me and get this back up for me. I was so relieved, I was hoping maybe they could help me.
I received an automated email that said your listing is suspended and you can't get it back. Well, I think tech may have gotten a message, Etsy seller has listing deleted and wants it back..or something like that. So now, when I try to find chat or email or a way to reach Etsy, there is no chat button or "I still need help" way to reach them. I think it is the new policy that only help is available if you don't have a policy violation, etc., BUT I DON'T have a policy violation. ( It was personalized boxes with names ). I lost the best seller badge, all the people that had it in their carts, all the links to the item, etc. I feel sick with my stupid mistake. But, even more sick of the response.
since it became difficult to find the links for support, i’ve collected them when sellers mentioned they found help. i hope one of these will work for you:
here is the link to the “how to contact support” from the seller’s handbook.
here is a link to initiate chat or email.
here is the link to request a callback.
or try this link or this link to email them.
if you do email them you *should* get an automated reply and once you do, you must reply to that email above the line of asterisks that their automated best guess solutions did not work. all you have to say is something like “i still need help” send the reply, and it should stay active. it’s critical that you reply to the automated response you receive and don’t send additional emails thinking it will speed things up (this actually slows things down.)
keep in mind these may or may not work outside the usa during standard business hours (m-f & 8-5).
Can you just make a copy of a sold listing? If it's your bestseller, you should be able to, unless it was actually deemed a violation.
Hi, yes I made a copy, but I lost all links, favorites, but it will take a while to get it back where it was, it took a few years to get it to the number 1 spot in it's category. It was just a personalize box with ribbon. At least I had the ability to do that. Thank you for responding

I think it's working, thanks so much!
Thanks! I'll try those. (yes, I used to be able to access those, but they seemed to disappear)
