I noticed a photo of a pair of my shops bridal earrings at the bottom of a page (not mine) but underneath was other wording. I followed it and it led to someone else's shop with nothing that even looked like mine. I do take some offense to this because I can use the sales. During the day the title went from Amethyst Bridal to Rose . Still my photo used by AI I suppose. I have searched for answers.
Thats awful. I would go to Esty Help, use the Chat Option and report it there. Good idea to go to the site, screen shot the page, listings etc that are yours save as .pdf so you can upload it in the chat. They were very helpful when I had to use the chat bot but it took me few minutes so ss on my computer, save the doc in word and convert to pdf.... if on cell phone it be easier . I recommend adding watermark to your images... there are some watermark that is visible and others that are embedded in the photo... pain to setup but at least do the regular watermark. Good Luck.
Thanks! Google popped up last night so sent it in and haven't checked my gmail this morning. If that doesn't work then will get help with etsy.
If it was a round photo - those are related searches. Etsy randomly assigns an image from one of the listings in that keyword category. It won't link to a specific shop or listing, but rather to search results for that keyword.
If it linked to an actual listing and another shop is using your own photos then you can report it to Etsy via the IP reporting portal - however I expect it's more likely the first scenario.
I followed the wording, by copy and paste and it led to a shop with different jewelry than mine such as shells.
But it changed twice last night to various wording and it always went to someones else shops.
......ditto it is a round photo of my bridal earrings. However if I copy the words it leads to a shop but if I just click on it its a page of completely different colors of bridal earrings. Just wish it led to mine. Thanks
