A customer made an order from me and I don't see it

a customer made an order from me and I don't see it.
He sent me a picture of the order he made with an order confirmation and it doesn't appear for me.
 This is a customer who has bought from me several times so I really trust him.
What could be the reason for this?
He made the order many hours ago...strange

If it doesn't show in your dashboard under the sales tab, it isn't an order. It is a scammer trying to steal your identity or financial information. Mark it as Spam and do not reply.

It may not even be the customer you are thinking of. A spammer may have stolen his information and just be trying to make you think it is someone else you are familiar with. They are very good at that.

You can't do anything.

It may be part of a scam, but sometimes a Buyer uses a payment method that requires them to return to Etsy to finalize the transaction- like PayPal.  If they forget that last step, it will show as paid to them on PayPal,  but not on Etsy.

Is she using Klarna?  She may have forgotten to complete the steps.

I know they Dutch buyers can have problems when paying with iDeal. When they don’t return to the Etsy site after paying in their bank app it glitches. The money is deducted but no order appears. Etsy then automatically refunds the customer within 5 days. So not all are “scams” but regardless, whether legit or not you can not solve it. They will need to contact Etsy.

Get his order number and search. If you don't see it, it never went through. If he paid and there is a delay in processing, I usually see the order with "Payment processing"
