I had to reset my phone because it was completely seized for some reason and I found no other solution. I am now trying to access the Etsy seller app on my phone and it would not accept my 2FA authentication from Google and after a certain amount of tries, it tells me I cannot try it again because I have been locked out of trying two factor, please try again later.
I know I got some back up codes years ago and I know I stored them somewhere but of course I don't remember where, but even if I did, I would not know what to do with them because I do not seem to be able to enter them anywhere. Is there anyway I can turn 2FA off (for now anyway)? I already logged a request for this with support because I read on the forum in an older post that someone managed to do this.
I am logged in on my chromebook and my pc so that is working for now but I would love to be able to have access on my phone as well...
Has anyone been here before and what did you do to get this working again?
EDIT, just tried 'login with google' and managed to get into one of my shops, unfortunately not the most active one, so that is still an issue. When I now try to add another account, I still run into the same issue.
Hi, You may wish to hop onto this Thread. Others having the same trouble. Don't know if it's a sudden glitch. Admin ModFabio has been tagged.

Thanks so much. It seems a bit random that the two would happen at the same time, but hey, who knows.
If you are logged in-- go into 2FA and back out of it-- cancel it.. Then once that is done.. try to log in on your phone via the password.. then re set up 2FA and Print those codes and keep them safe somewhere.
Yes-- I did this last year when I got a new iPhone.. and couldn't get in with my old iPhone anymore..My laptop was fine then - And I didn't copy down the codes originally.. But Now I have like 3 copies of those codes in safe places.. lol
When I try that, it asks me to login again and I get an error message (on my pc/mac, on the website).
Chr*st, now I seem to be logged out of my account and cannot get back in?
