I had 95 left and they have disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else
Yes because someone posted the code for every seller while it was not theirs to give out in the first place
Mine just vanished as I was posting!
did you get personally invited by Etsy for a survey where if you did respond to it you would end up with 100 free listings, or did you find out about the free listings from another seller or facebook group? If you did the latter then yes you lost the free listings
Me too!
@moldcreations Thats's not the case. I received them "legally" but they're still removed.
@MoldCreationsNmore @I was personally invited
then you will receive another email from Etsy
mine are gone too and yes i was sent an email by etsy
I was one of the users personally messaged by Etsy with the code and I'm honestly not surprised others decided to abuse this. Leave it to people to ruin something good. As a very small seller, I was over the moon for this promotion and surprised they even chose me to receive it. It's a shame people think they're entitled to take advantage of something like this.
I agree
i dont really understand why etsy did it as a code, they could have just credited those who they wanted to do the survey. i have 2 shops 1 sent the code the other not.
This code was all over social media to use. All the Etsy influencers were promoting to use it.
I too was invited, you should have received a new message from Etsy regarding filling in your details to get them reinstated.
Same here
Same in my shop
Yep, just now had 93 left! What's up with that?
The code was being shared around. It was only to be used by those that got emails
They should have said in the email that the code shouldn't be shared, it was vaguely in the Ts and Cs
How were those who didn’t get the email meant to know that it was only meant for those who got the email? If you see a voucher code most people will give it a go and see if it works.
ummmm.... that shouldn't have had to be said LOL.
I get that the people using it once it was posted might not realize it wasn't meant for them but the people that got the email and then posted it knew better.
Yes it happened to me.
I've had an email with a link that I needed to fill in shop details on to get my free listings back.... why on earth they didn't do this in the first place I have no idea! though why and how they have chosen the shops to give free listings to I have no clue
Oh boy. That's too bad. I hope those Sellers who got them legitimately get them back.
Three-armed sweater to whichever Etsy employee overlooked this possibility!
* Do any new Sellers need to know what the "three armed sweater" meant?
** OHHHH! I was expected to get something much older than last year!!!

My 93 free listings are back!
Soooo greedy! Unbelievable! I mean, we posto more. We all win. What is 20 cents for them anyways. The fees of selling are still on us. I mean. Terrible way to solve their own mistake. It would be a win win anyway. So wrong!
