Hey everyone, my name's Matt. I'm based out of Burlington and just opened my Etsy shop the other day. I'm planning on making and selling organic canvas bag products under the name "GoBe." My hope is that the products that I'm selling will encourage people to be more active, simply in using them.

I just visited your shop... It is excellent! Great photography, great design (strong logo, brand identity), and great products (gorgeous colors). It is very professional and very polished. You should be very proud, and I'm sure you will see many sales as a result.

Thanks for the comments! I'm just now seeing them, as I sort of assumed I'd get an update from Etsy if someone replied to a discussion thread. I guess I've gotta stay on top of it a bit better though!

I've had a couple of sales, but I'm off to a slow start... do you have any thoughts or suggestions? I'm wondering if the white backdrop on my images is turning people off?

Matt, I like the white backdrop. With a product like yours models would really come in to play. Showing the bags in use gives the buyer an idea of size and proportion, and sells a lifestyle.

I also like the white backdrop, and I would not think it was turning people off.

For additional feedback, perhaps adding more variety of products would help your sales. Reintroduce a duffel bag?
