Although I created this team to somewhat take the place of the old forums, the team setting just doesn't offer the same ability to organize and categorize discussions. The Unofficial Etsy Forum is growing, especially since Etsy took the plunge and closed the forums.
The good news is that this forum is run by Etsy sellers who know exactly what sellers want and need in a forum. There are a lot of added features we did not have on the Etsy forums, such as stickied posts, quoting previous posts, adding photos to posts etc... Also they have added some new helpful categories, such as Vintage, which is perfect for me.
It's a little chaotic at the moment as people settle in and the hosts figure out what they are doing, but I suspect in a few months time it will be the "Official" Etsy forum and the actual Etsy forums will be a ghost town.
