Hi guys, we just created a new community (FashionHeps) for building network among fashion professionals where members can connect with each other. Its where fashion designers/shoe designer/accessories designer/showcase their works/projects.
As a part of the promotional activity we are running 2 contests. We were thinking about giving away $500($250ˣ2contest) worth of gift cards from any of these shops: GAP, Express & Nordstrom. Then it occurred to us why don’t we give a chance to the handmade products or crafts.Most of these products are way more creative than the so called big guns.
So, we decided the winners of the contest will be able to buy from any of the 5 selected Etsy shops. But there are zillions of shops who make handmade products, how do we select 5 shops?
After a lengthy discussion, we decided the selection process will be something like this:
Shop owners of Etsy will create an account in our site, and submit their design works in the “Works” directory.
Starting from today we will accept submissions and we will accept 5 most viewed work submissions of the next 7 days and select the shops of the work submissionsand list their shops in the contest page instead of GAP/Express/Nordstrom. So when members win the contests they can shop from any of those five etsy shops.
Eligibility:
1. You should be the designer of your products.
2. Since it is a website related to fashion we will only allow products of certain

Knitting Footwear
Fashion Accessories
Underclothes
To Summarize:
1. Go to fashionheps.com/ and create an account with your realname and your profession. Please do not use your store name.
Hints for choosing profession:
select fashion designer if you design clothes
select Shoe Designer if you design shoes
select “Accessories Designer” if you are accessories designer and so on.
2. Go to “Works” directory click the “Submit Work” button and submit your work. Add at-least 4 photos of your design works (products) and a short description, a title and submit your work. If the design is up for sale on Etsy you can provide the link of the product in the description. You can add as many design works as you want.
3. We will review and publish your design work within an hour and it will be added to the “Works” directory forever.
4. From 25thFebruary - 2nd March we will monitor the view count of the submitted works and we will select 5 most viewed works and then contact theowners of those works and we will add their shop names in our contest page.
5. As the members win the contests (2 contests) which will end at 31-March-2012, we will let those 2 winners select $250 worth of products from any of those Etsy shops. After members select the products we will buy the products for them and we will send it to them.
6. When you submit your works in our works directory you automatically enter the “Work submission contest”. So if any of your design work gets the most voteswithin 31st March you will get $250 worth of products from any of those selected Etsy shops.
