Lets introduce ourselves...

I hope the curator of this team doesn't mind me doing this but I didn't see one already made and I'd love to know a bit about all of you tea loving members!

My name is Sophia. I'm nicknamed 'tealady' by friends and I make things out of felt mainly, as you can see from my shop!

I LOVE tea. Always have, always will. I feel it is the answer to everything! I am so in love with tea, that I am halfway through a tea (and owls) inspired tattoo sleeve!

I am determined not to be a lonely old cat lady when I grow up. But to instead have an enormous collection of teacups, teapots and all other things tea!

Re: Lets introduce ourselves...

Hi :) My name is Rochelle, and I'm from Adelaide in South Australia :)

I love my tea :) My workmates say that they didn't know tea-making was an art until they saw me using my tea infusers and timing how long the tea was being infused for :)

I have multiple types of tea at home and at work, and have recently given some of my tea to my parents in zip-lock bags, so they can try them out in their new Breville automatic variable temperature tea kettle (which my Dad saw me using and decided to buy one while it was on sale) :) If you haven't tasted Oolong or Green tea at 80 degrees celcius infused for for 2-3mins you won't realise how naturally sweet and tasty it is :)

I'm taking my Dad out for Father's Day later today to buy different teas to try out :)

My friends and I are bringing back the afternoon tea :) Having chai tea or another type of tea while outside on the grass is a great way to catch up :)

Re: Lets introduce ourselves...

I loooove tea and have over 50 recipies that I make. I think fresh herbs taste so good! Iam defintely an herbalist and believe herbs should be used more and medication should be used less.

I also love cute teapots and cups :-)

Hello!

I'm Jodie, from Birmingham, England.
I love tea, and tea shops - of which I have frequented many in my local area!!
We have a lot of foreign exchange students at my Sixth Form, and as the Student Representative, the first thing I always do is take them to 'Lily Langtry's' for the most amazing cuppa around, served in proper teacups and saucers!!! ....'how English!!!', as they always say to me!

Re: Lets introduce ourselves...

Hello everyone... I'm Eileen from The Pink Home. I have always loved tea and tea shops and tea cups and well, pretty much anything associated with tea. I have a little Tea Collection in my shop - pretty pictures and notecards illustrating the beauty of tea time.

I am a firm believer in a proper tea cup and saucer, too - the tea just tastes better. :)

Hi There;
My name is Barb and although I grew up in the Bronx, New York, and then moved on to Pennsylvania, then th West Palm Beach Florida....I'm proud to say that now that I'm 60 I have settled in up here with my husband Peter.
Peter is a devout coffee drinker (up to two pots a day!) but I LOVE my tea!...Love trying different flavors and blends and have very rarely been disappointed.....
We also have a large collection of Tea Cups and Saucers that were both his GrandMothers and Mothers. We are looking into finding a place where we can sell off most of these so someone else can get the pleasure and use of these....And I can get my shelf space back *smile*
Hope to be able to get to know some of you. Please, feel free to "chat" with me when you get a chance.
Till then, enjoy a cup of tea. Barb

Re: Lets introduce ourselves...

I'm Annie and I'm a tea-aholic...

I recently had this AMAZING(!!!!!!!!) rose tea when my sister and I went to tea at the Huntington in San Marino, CA. (I'm from Pasadena, CA).

There is nothing better than a HUGE cup of tea. Though I would love to collect a bunch of mismatched tea cups and throw a monthly tea party for all of my friends.

I'm a student and a knitter.

Re: Lets introduce ourselves...

Hi,
I just joined this team. I've been a tea lover for ever, and am excited to find so many like-minded people. My shop has lots of Jane Austen era bonnets, which my friends and I wear when we attend tea parties given by our local Regency society. I've recently added teacup fascinators to my shop, and now I'm dying to have a Mad Hatter tea to wear them to, although I did get to wear one when my friend and I went to tea in Oxford, England last month, which was lots of fun. I'm just delighted to be a part of this team. Cheers,
Fiona
