October Goals

[#1]

I decided to make it my major goal for the month to overhaul my shop. I have a lot of inconsistencies (different sizes listed for different items, different shipping costs, inconsistent descriptions) because I have been trying to figure the photography business out as I go.
So I deactivated everything and I am slowly redoing listings and reposting them.
In addition, I would like to add at least 20 new photographs this month.

I think the digital downloads are a great idea. People like instant gratification, and I'm sure you'll get a lot of last minute orders for those come Christmas!

Thanks! They are simple enough to make and hopefully will bring more people to my shop! I'll probably make a handful more between now and December :)

I love all the things you find to photograph and how stunning they look! Most of us just walk by things like that but you see them in a different light. It definitely takes talent to then get a great picture. I have tried, but they just never turn out as stunning as other people's!

Thank you, Tanya!!! One thing I can say is that jumping into photography has really made me open my eyes to things around me, and I love it! It is all about searching for light and little details. :)

Thank you, coalchild!! I actually can't wait to get back to NC - it will be a lot easier to take photos there! (I'm in Illinois until December, and Illinois is not a very pretty state in comparison, but I try to keep my eyes open and look for cool things!)


So you guys know how I posted a few typography prints in my shop? Well, I got to playing around and learned how to do some new things and a new passion kind of exploded. To the point where I decided that I needed another shop. Don't worry! Photography is here to stay forever, I'm addicted. But I am also now addicted to this! So, meet my new(est) shop!
