I ended up being much busier in October than I had originally anticipated so I was unable to spend much time painting or focusing on my artwork. I did however sign up on dailypaintworks.com so I have been trying to upload some of my artwork on there. I like that I was able to link it to my etsy shop so when someone clicks on my listing they are taken to my etsy shop listing to purchase the painting. I signed up on instagram this month because I finally got an iPhone, the new gold 5s. :) and I have already started gaining followers!!! http://instagram.com/kamaralarry

I have also been busy caring for my new addition to my family...a baby leopard tortoise!!! I have posted a pic on my instagram if you want to check out my new love! :)

This will be another busy month for me because I have a 3-day Mediation certification course that I will be taking so I can start volunteering as a court Mediator to gain experience. I am also looking for a part-time job to bring in some extra income to pay for the rest of the courses for my certificate in Conflict Resolution and the other things I need for my shop such as a new camera, and an art printer so I can offer prints in my shop.

For this month, I am trying to get back into my routine of painting and listing because my sales have dropped tremendously during September and October! I do not know if it was because I was not listing and promoting every other day or not because my views have not dropped. However, I need to get back to painting because I have missed having that happy time when it is just me, a canvas, some paint and endless possibility!
I do not have any specific goals for this month other than paint, paint, paint! Oh and maybe sell, sell, sell! :) LOL

I am feeling excited and optimistic about taking on the new challenges this month! :D

Gorgeous work, Kamara, and make me nostalgic for living by the sea even though I never have...

I hope you are able to find the time to paint, paint, paint! I've really enjoyed these last couple months of knitting, knitting, knitting, sometimes to the detriment of my social life it's true. There's something wonderful about deciding to focus on our creative work and then actually seeing it through. :)

Somehow I had missed the mention of your new tortoise friend when I first read your November goals (sorry, shameful skim-reader I am apparently... ) -- what a cutie! I loved seeing pictures of him.

Also, what amazing work it sounds like your doing, with the mediation and conflict resolution training.

@Emma, Thank you! I love my little tortoise! However my dog is a little jealous of all the time that I have been spending with my new tort so I have been giving her extra cuddles. :D

@Lisa, Thank you! I have to say that it has not been easy, I have had many overwhelming moments, and I wish I had more time for etsy and painting but I know that it will feel rewarding in the end. :)

Just an update:
I have 4 more paintings sitting there waiting to be photographed and listed. Hopefully this week! :)

all of my paintings are linked to my etsy account for purchasing and I have already received some views from there.

And, I GOT A JOB!!! :) It a part-time position at Ross near my house. Yay for the 20% discount! I needed something part-time that would work around my schedule so I knew that my employment options were probably limited to retail but I figure that minimum wage is better than no wage :D lol. I do not have many stores around me and I did not want to find something further out because I would just be using the money I'm making on gas, but Ross was the first to call me back (I submitted my application that night and they called me in the morning! I had an interview two days later and they hired me on the spot!!!) So I am looking forward to my first day!
I also have my Mediation class starting tonight!! That will be fun!

I love the Golden Tan Abstract that color palette is one of my favorites.
