FieldSketch September Goals

I can't believe that September is already here!

My goals:

Add 30 new photos
Build up a Facebook page
Investigate photography products to add

I have a question too -
I have all of my photos listed as 8x10 prints, and then I have listings for other sizes - like "11x14, any print of your choice"
This is how one photography shop I looked at does it. Another shop I looked at takes every photo and lists each size uniquely - so the same photo would appear five times in the shop, but each listing is for a different size.
I'm not sure which approach is better... adding all the sizes for each individual photo would greeaaaatly increase my number of listings - I mean I could get up to 400, probably. But I don't know if that's the best way to do it?

Are you going to be offering 5x7s? I am wanting that basil one for a Christmas present, but she doesn't have enough wall space for an 8x10.

Absolutely!! I decided to stick with small prints because I have to buy shipping products in bulk and I want to make a few sales before I invest in shipping tubes for larger prints! But you're absolutely right, I need to add 5x7s! I'll do that now!

So, as you all know, I have not been doing this for that long. I am still playing with my aesthetic and experimenting a lot with different looks. When I started this shop, it was actually going to be for expired film prints, but then I decided the cost of having them developed was not going to be worth the risk.

I love the look of old, faded, grainy photos, though. I don't think there will be as much mass appeal as the more vibrant shots, but I am starting to experiment more with these faded, grungier shots - and I really like them. So we'll see how it goes!

My is soooo boring (just me), but when I started Etsy, that's what they really recommended was a pic of yourself.
