I can't believe that September is already here!

My goals:

Add 30 new photos
Build up a Facebook page
Investigate photography products to add

I have a question too -
I have all of my photos listed as 8x10 prints, and then I have listings for other sizes - like "11x14, any print of your choice"
This is how one photography shop I looked at does it. Another shop I looked at takes every photo and lists each size uniquely - so the same photo would appear five times in the shop, but each listing is for a different size.
I'm not sure which approach is better... adding all the sizes for each individual photo would greeaaaatly increase my number of listings - I mean I could get up to 400, probably. But I don't know if that's the best way to do it?

Can you use the listing variation on each of your pictures? I realize it might create a problem with shipping, but then you wouldn't have to list each size separately. Just make sure you list in the title what the size of the print is. If you use the variations, you can just list all the sizes.

Tanya - that's what I was thinking at first! The problem is that you can have multiple variations, but you can only have ONE price variation. Right now, I offer photographs or giclee prints, and there is a big difference in price, so there is a price variation connected to that.
So if I add sizes, I can't set individual prices for them. :(

Can you offer a photograph listing and a giclee listing and within those list the different sizes? You could do a "giclee 4x6 - price" and "print 4x6 - price", etc. It will list the lowest price, and maybe that's not what you want to show.

I could do it that way! I'm just not sure which I should show buyers - the different paper options or the different size options... because if I separate giclee and photo print, they may not know that I have the other option. Ahhh I don't know what to do haha

Love the small town series idea and photos. Not sure how you should list different sizes....Maybe do a separate listing for each size and add size to the title.
By the way, toward the end of your descriptions, you have "read star+smoke policies".

You are off to a flying start this month!!! :) As far as the listing variations I have seen shops that have one listing for all of their different print sizes and when you click on a different size it shows the different price and you can then add it to your cart at the price for the size. I hope that makes sense... if not I posted a link to a shop that does it so you can get an idea of that I am talking about! :) Hope this helps!
