August Goals

August's theme this month is "Anything August" so I will list lots of different things. I already listed 9 items tonight. So my goal is high... at least 50 items! That'll get me passed 400 total shop listings.
And another goal is to get going on Tumblr. Did start facebook in July but haven't done much with it yet. I will try.

See the awful shadow in that last picture. I don't do any photo editing but should. I tried it one time: was able to edit photo, but then got stuck. Didn't know how to move it to my files or whatever you do next. Any advice? Honestly, I'm not real good with the computer or using programs. I never did much computer use prior to etsy (just wrote papers for college) and googled a few times.

Wow, you are doing crazy awesome! I had to make sure I was actually reading your August goals and not your July goals when I saw that you were already up to 21! Almost half way there!

Oh, and on the lamp! One way to get rid of shadows is to put the item near a big window when the sun isn't too bright. Hold up a big piece of white posterboard opposite the window, so that your item is between. The posterboard will reflect the light and create a lightbox effect - won't get rid of the shadows completely, but it helps a lot!

I just broke my 3rd last piece of the green daisies glasbake..I bought a complete set from a coworker back in the early 80's..they were well loved!
I have never seen those brass dogs anywhere before..so cool I love all that brass stuff.
And I just love that miniatures display I could picture all kinds of collections being housed within.
