can you create a live link in a product listing to direct to companion pc?

i have the free supa shop. is there a way to drop a live link in a description to be directed to a companion item like we can do on etsy?
so much easier than customer having to do copy/paste, that's not likely to happen

I believe there is, Jeanne. One of the ladies in the SD Facebook group found a way. Do you belong to that group? It's in there somewhere.

You have to use html to do it. I copied the instructions to a word document because I can never remember how to do it!

Hope you can understand that. You just remove the asterisks when you have put your link url and your description in the right places and it goes live.

And the word remove too?

it works, thanks so much. i opened up the supa admin page as well as a browser window of the shop so i could copy the item url.
had the etsy supa url open also so i just went back in forth copying pasting...
i will write down the html on a postit to stick on the laptop screen..vs memorizing it

Thanks Tina! I went to the page and requested to join. The Admin message says to include my shop name in addition to requesting to join the group but I can't figure out where to type my shop name.

That confused me too. At the top of the page right under the avatars there are a few tabs and the last one is Files. If you go to that one the first document is called Sellers Links. When you click on that you'll see the little pencil that lets you edit it and then you scroll to the bottom, add your links and save it again.
