I can't get my list uploaded

I have contacted support 2 days ago, and got no word back.

I download the file from etsy, and then try to upload it to their site and get this message

The CSV file uploaded does not appear to be valid. Please upload the original unmodified file.

Any help would be great

Nathan, what's the name of your SD shop?

Have you joined or FB group? Send me the name of your shop and come join us, maybe someone there can help you. It's for SD sellers only.

No my problem is still not resolved, and I have emailed them again via their website link Email Us. Someone told me I should lessen the number of listings I'm trying to upload, so I did to 35 and still can't get them to load. I've used over 4 different computers, and still get the same error message. I'm stuck, and don't know what to do. I feel like I'm paying for something I can't use.

I'm not sure if I can figure it out but can you send me a sample of 20 or so records from your CSV file so that I can compare them to mine to see if there are any differences that might be there? Etsy won't let us attach anything but pictures to convos but you can send it to MirabilisFashions@gmail.com. My upload seemed to take forever but it eventually did work and I only had about 25 items. It may be that Etsy has changed something that SD hasn't caught up with and hopefully I can find an old download. (I'm the same Karen...)

Thanks - I sent you an email but I also want to post this here in case anyone has done an upload since Etsy added listing variations that used them. Right away I saw that you have listing variations and those didn't exist when most of us joined SD. I don't know if SD has caught up with that in the download. Has anyone else has uploaded those? If not I would try it once where the CSV file goes in the order of title, description, price, currency, quantity, tags, material and images then move the variations to the end and see what happens and if that doesn't work I would take the variations out altogether and at least get the base information in there. Wait and see what other team members have to say first though because maybe some of them have done it. If you have to ask SD I would specifically ask if the Etsy upload has been updated to support their listing variations and the changed format of the CSV file that goes with it.
