What got you into selling your items on Etsy? How did it all start?

My name is Christina and I make all natural dog treats. I started making dog treats when I realized how unhealthy the ones at the pet store are. I started making healthy treats for my dog and he went absolutely crazy over them.

I decided to make it into a small business, and I'm loving it so far!

Welcome to Wax It Up Candles. My name is Stefanie Mortensen and I am the founder of this shop. I started making and selling handmade soy wax candles out of my home back in November of 2014. I find that soy wax candles burn longer, are ego-friendly and produce less soot then paraffin wax candles. I find that making candles brings me comfort knowing that you are getting a one of a kind candle, straight from the heart. Each candle is unique in its own way, never the same and burns for well over 80+ hours. I love making candles and would love to have my great smelling candles in your home or office. They also make great gifts. As a mom of a wonderful daughter and a supportive husband, I understand the importance of having a budget. I just love sewing and have been doing so for more than 10 years (and I'm now 29 years old). The big pile of fabric leftovers is the main reason that I've started my Etsy-shop: they are too tiny to make anything out of it for my two girls (2 and 4), but big enough for baby dresses, shorts, pacifier clips, playmats, pillowcases and so on.

Hey! My name is Eleni and I am the owner of Wehnerdogcreations. I have been crafting for over a decade, but I have been working with clay for the past few years. I make a lot of quirky, fun designs. I opened up my Etsy shop a few years ago, but never really put much into it. At the time, I was working a 40+ hour a week hospital job with call as well as selling my clay jewelry and bows at a local vintage store. Hi, everyone! I'm Mallory. I just started my business Brave Heart Designs and I sell bangle bracelets. I love stacking my wrist with bangles, but wanted something with a message. So I started making my own bangles and using metal stamps to add an inspirational or witty phrase to each bangle. Hi, I'm Carole and I make leather wrap bracelets. I had a friend who was wearing one and on looking I though I'd have a go at making one. Several searches later and drooling over Chan Luu, (but not the prices!) I bought the resources to start. It's taken me many months to perfect sewing the beads but I feel I'm there and have adopted my own style.

I love the leather and the range of beads there are available, sadly more are in the USA than available over here in the UK and I probably spend more than I should on supplies, but it's still a hobby at the moment until I can commit more time next year.
