I have a few questions I would love some feedback on.
1. I buy low fire clay and slip at my local ceramic shop. I used the slip to cast a cup then used the clay and made a heart, applied it on the cup. I scored and slipped the heart onto the cup. I fired to bisque, glazed, fired again. The heart just popped right off the cup. Tried it a few more times and each time the 'clay' decor just pops right off of my slip cast pottery. ?? why is this? Can you not mix these two together? I though slip was basically watered down clay?
2. Has anyone tried Amaco pebble glaze? I tried it and the pebbles either fall off or melt down on my shelves..ruined two shelves I had so I haven't tried using it again.
