Bio:
After a 15 year hiatus (raising 3 amazing boys!) I rediscovered my passion for pottery about 4 years ago and have studied under Karen Rimi, Simon Leach and Carol Harris.
I recently introduced my husband, Craig, to "the mud" and now we have to take turns for some "therapy time" in our small studio. But it's worth it having something to share that we are both so passionate about.
We love the process of taking "mud" and making it into something beautiful and functional. Anything and everything inspires us especially nature.
Craig makes a lot of the functional ware while I love making my goofy characters. They're so much fun to make especially when I'm creating a new animal. I usually have pictures of the real animals to inspire me but they always end up more cartoony. If anyone saw me during the process I'd be locked up because I end up talking to them: "Oh, aren't you too cute!", "What a funny guy you are!". What's most rewarding is doing shows and watching people's reactions when they look at our creations.
