I love seahorse facts and here are a few of my favourite ones. Despite their appearance seahorses are actually fish, although they are not very good swimmers, but they are excellent movers and can even swim backwards and upside down. Seahorses don’t have a stomach, which means they need to eat all the time. Many seahorses mate for life and spend most of their time together promenading along the bottom of the ocean with their tails entwined. The male of the species is the only one of its kind to become pregnant and give birth to lots of tiny babies that resembles the adults.
