Idea for packing fragile items

I've just started rethinking my packing process for shows to make things go quicker and smoother.

I'd love your feedback on whether I'm reinventing the wheel or if I'm the genius I think I am. ;-)

Definitely a good thing. Anything that helps the packing up process is always a genius idea :) Thanks Carolyn!

Nice ideas, Carolyn!
I've used wine bottle "cases" with their dividers for my taller items like vases in the past! I too hate being one of the last crafters packing up at the end of a show! This has inspired me to devise a better system by my spring shows! Thanks! :-)

Re: Idea for packing fragile items

Love the idea and you did a fabulous job of handing it to me on a platter.

I have used packing boxes with divider inserts that were intended for glass ware, much like you did but I did not design it from scratch like you did. So you are a wonder of wonders AND a genius all wrapped in one package. Love your enthusiasm. ; >)

Thanks for sharing.

Re: Idea for packing fragile items

I stumbled upon a similar stroke of genius this summer. I think mine takes a little extra time, but once you've invested that time you'll always have these packing accessories. I had some extra felt around and I sewed extremely simply designed bags, sort of like miniature pillow cases, so instead of needing to wrap and unwrap everything, pieces are just slipped into these bags and filled into the boxes however they come off the table. I made different sizes but they are all the same sort of square to rectangle shape.
