Introductions

Hi Everyone... I currently reside n Vancouver Island in BC. I just started selling on Etsy and so far I am very impressed at all the wonderful stores and talent on the site. I mostly make Steampunk or Victorian inspired Jewelry and Accessories.

I am looking forward to meeting other Steampunk Artisans from Canada!

Cheers!

Re: Introductions

Pleased to meet you!

I'm Curt. I illustrate and use photomanipulation to design greetings cards (currently with a slight Steampunk bent) that I then print and sell.
I've been doing this since February this year and often find it frustrating that I don't have nearly as much time to create new designs as I would like in amongst various other jobs I have like teaching for Cadbury World, DJing, stilt-walking, and other illustration work.

As I'm new to teams and have just now joined a couple to investigate, could someone please explain what they are? Are they simply communities of like-minded individuals? What do we do? Basically, how do teams work please?

Also, is this an appropriate team for me to join with the sort of shop I have?

Thanks in advance and I hope to make the acquaintance of many new friends here!

Re: Introductions

HI,
We are Deb and Tee....we are friends who love to sew. We make Bustles, Capes, Veils and other Steampunk items. We have tried other items, but it seems that our Bustles, Capes, and Veils are the ones that continue to sell. We would appreciate any creative criticism on our shop. We would love to grow our SteampunkWear shop and we need help with ideas. Thanks Deb & Tee
