I have been working hard to get my store on google plus. It is now up and going and I will continue to tweak it but I just want to share with you what I have seen.
Since Friday my stats have really jumped and shows up in the etsy stats.
For the first time doing searches on google I am now showing up on the first page, on many things they are showing up twice.
My hits on google plus are better than in the store.
Bottom line I am finding google plus a win win.
There is no charge to open a store and show case your items.

I just got a few more shop done.

Just go to google + business and get it started, it may take you a couple of days but it really is not hard. Transferring pictures is easy and anyone viewing can just click and it will take them to your store.
I have even moved our blog from our web site so they read how we do our projects.https://plus.google.com/u/0/103257445783134644468/posts

Thank you so much for this. We had dinner with a friend last night who is in public relations and does a lot of social media promoting and he mentioned Google+ as the next best thing in promoting one's biz.. Your post gives me an added push.

Good luck , I know you will not be sorry.Don't push your self. One day at a time.
I am having so many more views now than before.
Also be sure you have your shop crawled by google, Bing and Yahoo. Here are the links

I have my store crawled every week and it really helps.
Another tip when you type in search for objects in your store take note of what is popping up as you type that object then try and incorporate those words or phrases into your tag words . You ask why and they tell me it is because those will be the words or phrases people use to search for your object.

Diane I have to tell you I did not even want a personal page and how I got it is beyond me but they are working together just fine. I want to get them separated and will in the near future. I am new at this also and I try to tackle something every day. I want to connect pinterest and my google plus acct together. You will be offered some on line classed every few days and they are very good. There are many things you can do with google plus.

actually, I came to conclusion that just like in FB you cannot really start a business page unless you have a personal account.
I'll definitely have to look into those tutorials. Thanks again!

That is good info, bookmarked the page and will play with it. Is anyone getting any searches from Bing ? I know that I am coming up on the first page with bing but I see no stats for it with Etsy. Just Curious.
I also do not get many from Pinterest and I pin like crazy but then maybe I am not doing it right.
