Craft shows, farmers market

Hi there,

I thought we could share any upcoming craft shows, farmers markets, etc in SoCal here since they are a bit hard to find.

There is a vegan grocery in Rancho Cucamonga that holds a monthly craft bazaar. Their facebook page is www.facebook.com/NaturallyBazaar. Contact is Sherie.

Victoria Gardens "Heritage Farmers Market" has pretty low fees and is held every Friday. Google "Heritage Farmers Market" for a list of cities - I think they just started another one in Montclair.

Temecula is starting a Farmer's Market - go to PeltzerFarms.com

That is what I have to share for now. Hopefully, others can share too! :)

Sure thing Debbie and Mary.

Here is another one I've signed up for at Crafted Port of LA on June 28. I got the smallest booth only $35... Seems like fun and worth a try :) www.momandpopupshop.eventbrite.com

Re: Craft shows, farmers market

Hi Charlotte, it is 24x48 by Lifetime, I think I bought it at Costco. I've used it before and it is just big enough to fit quite a bit of product. I put my extra inventory, gift wrap etc under the table.

Re: Craft shows, farmers market

I should mention I discovered the Crafted show via an Etsy team I belong to 'SoCal Etsy Guild' if you'd like to join. They host lots of shows throughout the year. Great resource.

Also I came across this Facebook page www.facebook.com/CAcraftshows and you can share craft show dates on their wall.

They are hard to come across, aren't they?

Have a nice long weekend all!

Re: Craft shows, farmers market

Don't worry. You'll be fine Charlotte! Make sure you bring supplies: clear tape, scissors, banner, business cards, $ change, your mobile card reader, i. e. Square, to accept cc payments, signage (with your pricing and forms of payment you accept. Bring some boxes so you can display your product vertically especially if you got the 4x4 space. It's more attractive and easier to see from far away (think of yourself as a customer walking by). :)

Re: Craft shows, farmers market

I ended up getting the 6 x 4 so I did not have to buy more than one table. Hmm thanks for the tips. Now I am trying to figure out how to display the hair bows vertically. I have them plastic cello bags with my business cards in them. I am getting the mobile card reader through paypal it says it will work with my iphone. I am thinking I should do a mock display before I go just so I have a idea of what kind of setup I want to do.

Re: Craft shows, farmers market

If anyone wants to participate at the show I'm doing at Viva La Vegan grocery in Rancho Cucamonga. It is Saturday June 14th from 11-3pm. Traffic here varies and it is small and held inside the store... It is a grocery store so not your typical craft show venue. They are looking for all handmade (vegan friendly items) so no leather or things made from animal byproducts.... If you have any questions, let me know. And if you want to sign up, the contact is Sherie. Tell her that Nydia from The Spanish Tin referred you. Her email is: naturallybazaar@gmail.com. Hope to see some of you there!
