I have a Canon 5d mark II and I use manual, aperture priority or shutter priority. I love that it takes a good quality photo but wish it had more frames per second.

Re: You and Your Camera

I have a Canon EOS Rebel T4i which I used automatically. Since the initial purchase, I've purchased and used two sets of lenses to reduce glare on glass and magnification for small things. It's on my to do list to learn manual settings. My "bonus daughter" has given me a bit of insight into manually taking pictures, just need to have better understanding and practice.

Re: You and Your Camera

I had a DSL camera (Canon and Olympus) and I was editing pictures in Photoshop. I have switched to iPhone and I have to say I love it for giving me the flexibility and making the photo editing much faster. Plus I travel light.

Re: You and Your Camera

I use a Nikon D3300 and a Konica Minolta 35mm depending on my mood. The D3300 is a great beginner camera for anyone who is looking. I always shoot in manual. Its tough to learn but there is SO much free info on Pinterest and other websites that can help. Cheers :)

Re: You and Your Camera

Hi,
Ive a Nikon DF, love it. It doesn't have any Auto mode. Shooting mostly long exposures the camera lives in manual most of the time but sometimes finds itself in aperture priority.

Re: You and Your Camera

love my canon 450D. hoping to get the latest canon 5D mark III.

i definitely need to get a new DSLR with higher ISO settings so I can experiment different photo styles in low light. i read a book on it recently. give me a lot of ideas.

nowadays, i shoot in manual in RAW. loves the flexibility it gives me but it takes a lot of practice before i totally switch to manual from aperture.

Re: You and Your Camera

I have a Nikon D3000 with prime lenses. It is no better than the D40 I used before and no better than a D600 I tried out. I think it's all a marketing conspiracy sometimes.

Re: You and Your Camera

and a Nikon D700. I shoot manual always and use prime lenses for best sharpness, color, contrast, and image rendition.

Re: You and Your Camera

I've used a Canon 5D Mark iii for almost a year now and absolutely love everything about it except it's quite a bit heavier than the last camera I had. I shoot RAW, always, and usually manual. Loving my 24-105 lens right now. Bit of editing in Lightroom, but mostly just some cropping/straightening/definition.
