✿ What is it –
When holidays are around, we are automatically relaxed, the festivity takes over and we love to be surrounded with family and friends. For some, sales take a backseat and for some it goes to the next gear! However, there is one thing that does not stop – SHOPPING :)
And it is this basic need we are all trying to cater to – no rush shipping, no pressures – just lots of fun for everyone involved. The cherry on the cake is that the participating shops throw open exclusive deals to all shoppers alike. A minimum discount of 20% to sometime even free shipping is the least you can expect. Some shops also offer free gifts… it’s like visiting an Online Holiday Flea Market …
This festival will run between 20th Dec 2013 to 10th Jan 2014.
✿ I am interested to become a participating shop –
Awesome ! All you need to do is get in touch with the team captain / leader with the details of the Simple Trading Team to let her know about your deal. Here are certain little things you must commit to before you don the cap of becoming a participating shop –
~ Be a member of the Simple Trading Team
~ Including a minimum of “Simple Trading Team Holiday Shopping Festival” logo on your shop banner, or better still – use the new banner template provided by the team captain during this period.
~ Minimum discount should either be 20% or more. Incase you do not wish to offer a percent discount, then you must offer free shipping worldwide. You may choose a certain minimum order value.
~ Create a coupon code for this period that contains the characters "STT" and "HSF". For example, if you wish to give a 20% discount, your coupon code could be like “STTHSF20”
~ Your shop must not be in a vacation mode during this period and prompt reply to consumer inquiries is appreciated.
~ In view of popularising this festival, each shop willing to sign up as a participant must send convo’s to 60 team members – the script and the members to be convo’ed will be informed to you by the team captain.
~ Each shop participant needs to make a treasury – one item from each shop from the list of participating shops you choose – leaving out your own. The treasury needs to be tagged “simpletradingteam”, “holiday shopping festival”, and “simple trading team”. The description must contain –
~ Last date to sign up – 24th Dec 2013
✿ Now let’s hear what the participating shop’s gain –
Exposure – but isn’t that like the most obvious thing! Read on .. When we exposure we mean the real deal –
~ Email blasts to an apt consumer / shop owner audience of over 500 people will be sent out each week including direct links to your shops, showcasing the deals and your items.
~ Items from the participating shops will be treasured various times during the fellow participating shops as well as the captain / leaders for constant promotion
~ The participating shops will be featured on that week’s BNS / BNR boards for extra visibility. This way, any transactions made on the board can be used for securing a spot in the next round
~ Heightened views, hearts and likes will ensure a steady traffic to your shop even during the peak holiday period.
~ Wearing a team logo on your shop banner makes your shop appear to be a part of a larger group and adds more value and responsible feeling.
