I have a photo of the painting but have never been able to locate the original artist. I'd love someone to recreate / take a stab at it for me! It looks like an American flag with a military crest overlaid lightly (De Opresso Liber - also have a photo of a crest), with the colors painted in a way that looks like they're running down the painting.
