If someone has any thoughts on my shop comments will be much appreciated. Nothing is happening and starting to feel a bit discouraged.

Re: Etsy Advice! Help Everyone Out!

Hello, Kara!

One thing that is important in a shop are the images of your products. One helpful thing I have found is just as easy as purchasing a white poster for a backdrop. Since most of your items are flat, taking them from above in a room filled with natural light will make you have incredible pictures. Despite what people say, you don't need a big fancy camera to take amazing pictures. Try editing your photos and working with an editing program such as Pixlr (I use this and love it! And it's free!) to make your pictures the best they can be!. I hope this helps! If you want more advice feel free to contact me!

Re: Etsy Advice! Help Everyone Out!

Hello, Milena!

One thing that I have found helpful in getting exposure to your shop is to like and favorite other shops. Even though there are individual stores on Etsy, it is ultimately a community of merchants who love to exchange ideas and learn together. Try joining more Teams and Forums--many or solely dedicated to helping people have shop exposure. I hope this helps and contact me if you have any questions! Don't get discouraged! Greatness takes time! :)

Re: Etsy Advice! Help Everyone Out!

Hello, Vibhuti!

I would first work on expanding your about page for your shop and for your personal profile. People love to see who they are buying from and here about the personal mission of your shop.

What inspires you?
How long have you been painting?
Do you do custom work?
What are your favorite things to paint and why?

These are just a couple of questions that you can address!

I would also expand on your product descriptions to the best of your knowledge. Look at popular shops similar to yours and compare them with yours. What do their titles look like? What do their descriptions look like? Do they have multiple pictures? What do they include that I don't?
If you have any more questions please do not hesitate to contact me! I hope this helps!
