My whole shop is built around the concept of it being a make-believe shipping company. I love getting to tell a story about where my journals have come from and making up little character cards about the mythical creatures who made them. It's very much a reflection of who I am :)
BUT...
I know that people come to etsy to get to know the maker and I'm worried the fantasy element will turn people off to a product they would otherwise be interested in. So I don't make reference to the story in some of my product descriptions but then I wonder if my store may appear to be inconsistent or confused... what should I do?
And of course, if there's any other critique you can give me about my product descriptions that would be great. I've wondered about the arrows and hearts too, do you think they are perfect or too much? Are my descriptions too long and boring?
I have some products descriptions that tell a story about where my journals have come from like this one:

Thanks for your feedback!
