Re: Shop Critique!

Hi Tania,

First, while your work is beautiful, your first image is zoomed out so far that it's not always clear what the image is showing in the thumbnail view. You can use that same image, but set a closer crop for the thumbnail (this is easy to do when you're setting up or editing a listing - you just click the "adjust thumbnail" button at the bottom of the photos box).

You may also want to make it *extremely clear* that the product is a digital file, not a physical framed image. Remember that descriptions don't show up automatically in a mobile browser or in the app.

Your tags need a bit of work. Your tags should all be phrases that someone would likely type into the search box, not just collections of disjointed words. I can't see many people searching for "individual puppy", "photo pup", or "picture decor custom". Remember that the items that will show up first in search are the ones that have the closest match to what the customer searched for. Natural language usually works better for this than pure stuffing, because if you were searching for a photo of a puppy, you'd be more likely to type "puppy photo" than "photo puppy". The two phrases are not interchangeable, according to the search algorithm!
