Is the birdnest background too busy?

I'd like to know if this background detracts from my pieces. Does the background need to be simpler?

Hi Christine! On the one hand, I think your photographs are stunningly beautiful (and so is your jewelry). And because your jewelry is inspired by nature, it's definitely fitting. And I like the fact that not all of your items are photographed on the bird nest because it lends variety to your photography (something that MY shop is sorely lacking).

On the other hand, it does require a shopper to look more closely to distinguish the jewelry from the background. However, I think it's ok, as long as you have other photographs of the piece without the bird nest, which you seem to have in at least some of the cases.

That's my two cents. But I'm new, with no track record, so what do I know? :)

One thing I'd like to see, as a customer, is the jewelry on a model, so I could get a better sense of what it would look like on.

Great stuff, great photography, and overall beautiful shop!

Love the bird nest! I have one caveat however. As Cherry pointed out above, the earrings look amazing, but the necklace gets lost. I think the difference is in your depth of field and perhaps the product position.
I prefer the shots where your product is in sharp focus, but the bird nest is fuzzy. This puts the attention on the jewelry and draws your eye right in. Nice work!

I absolutely love your nest background too, the focus is still on your jewellery and it looks very professional, , I wouldn't change it :)

I had a quick look on your titles in french (I'm french) and I think there's a room for improvement: you can get rid of little words like "de" (=of) or "avec" (=with) to improve your SEO, for this listing for exemple:

The title in french is: "Lien de cuivre avec perle..." if you change it to "Lien cuivre perle...", it still makes sense and you're up on searches :)

I think the bird nest photos take away from the beauty of the jewelry. Also not sure if its the certain camera lens your using or your f-stop is turned way down but some of the photos the pendents are blurring and the center of the necklace is in focus.
