Critique my shop, please.

Hello everyone!
I opened my shop in 2011, but never use it until november 2015, when reopened.
I have many views and faves, but sales are not relevant to them.
I think shoppers wonder why so few sales on an old shop- there must be something wrong.
It.s explained in about page, but who reads it?
Any critique is very welcome.

First of all, great shop! The banner is really good and eye catching. You might think about closing and then opening a new shop if you are very worried about costumers thinking you don't have enough sales for so old of a shop. Also, your photos maybe would look better, more like the same shop, if they all had the same background. The form you use for the shawls looks good though. Hope this helps!

Hello Mila,
I agree that you should try to use all the same background for your photos. I liked the ones on a solid black background best: the colors and patterns on your shawl really stood out on that background.
Also in your titles it is best to only capitalize the first letter of the first word. The searches (google and etsy) find your item better if the title does not have too many capital letters.

Your shawls are awesome! and your shop looks cohesive. I would recommend to add photos on a person - on a young lady - to show how to wear your shawls, how to get the proper combination)

Hi, I love the shawls! I agree that you may need some photos of actual women wearing the shawls styled in a variety of ways to help give potential customers an idea of how/where they would wear it.. Maybe like a day out shopping, a night out, or casual.

Also, I noticed that most of the items are at higher price point. Maybe you can offer a few items at a lower price point - like in the $20-30 range which could help get sales and momentum for your store?

Hi Mila,

I am fairly new to the Etsy Seller community so my critique will be purely from the perspective of a shopper. Your items are so beautiful, I love all the colors! I woud have to agree with some of the critiques I read, the only thing I can say is to take your pictures with the same black background so the colors really stand out. Also, I agree that maybe you should think about opening another shop to maybe get a fresh start. I did that in a way with my shop by simply changing the name to something shorter, and it seemed to catch on better. Other than that I think your shop looks great, and your about section truly conveys your love for what you do! Hope this helps a bit. I wish you all the best and lots of success!

Hi Mila - beautiful shawls and scarves. My only suggestion is to have "Scarf" or "Shawl" more at the beginning of the title instead of "Red" the other descriptive words.
