A customer just asked me how many yards fabric is needed to make a dress for plus size woman (1x). She wants to buy a fabric to make a dress for herself. I haven't got a clue. Please help!

Well she will need to take her measurements, which will help approximate the amount needed

Can you ask her what pattern number she is using? If it is a commercial pattern you would be able to figure it out.
