What are you working on today?

I have to make one petal overskirt and a chemise, then on to a "Warrior Princess Peach" costume....as soon as I get done with preschool with my son. Yeah right. I' won't get started until 3 pm. lol then my other sons get home and that's always really um....exciting.

Today I am hand-sewing some bag linings closed (yuk), finishing up a custom order quilt top and working on a couple of family Christmas presents which means swapping my sewing machine for a scalpel (doing some paper cuttings!). May try to wrap some presents too. Hang on, this list is getting longer and longer......

I am frantically trying to get my gifts finished in time. I am 3/4 of the way through getting my hubby's wool socks knitited (I make him a pair every year) and making recycled woll mittens for a few of my friends....so hopefully I can clear my sewing machine and serger off my dining room table in time for the holidays!

Today I have to make two heart catnip toys, take down the Christmas tree, create a special toy for a care package, and make the pattern for a brand new owl toy design. Sew sew sew!

Today i have listed some new items and edited photos for items yet to be listed.And made a list of jobs to get done for my shop promotional ideas and ideas for products and set deadlines for them.Will get back to the sewing when the children go back to school on Tuesday and i have shook this cold off :-(

I'm finishing the binding on this horrible quilt that will be donated. The top is fantastic, but the quilting...well, the machine got away from me. It got...not ugly, exactly, but certainly not something I'm proud of. So I'll donate it, and it'll keep some little one warm. And probably no one but me will notice how awful it is. :-)

Today I will be sewing a couple more bags and a new headband set......I'm in the middle of designing some new product too. I have to test out some quilted pot holders to make sure they work well enough to add to the shop....and then photograph everything I put up :-D

Tanya - What charity do you donate your 'oops' quilts to? I make quilts for various charities, so I'm just curious :-)

I worked on a new gown for my HAUTE Doggies Collection, it is snakeskin with hot pink and black tulle and onyx beading with a silk rose. I am still thinking of what to name this piece in my collection.
