Introducing myself

Hello all, I've just joined after searching for a sewing related team. I thought I couldn't do better than sewing addicts as the description fits me perfectly! I've only had my Etsy shop open for a few weeks but am adding things daily. I make many felt and fabric items from fabric flower jewellery to bouquets. However, my hat and handbag pincushions are what seem to have really captured people's hearts and have, I suppose, become the flagship make of Crafty Jo Designs! I am yet to have my first sale on Etsy but have been selling them successfully through my facebook business page for about a year now.
I am really looking forward to having a look around at all your shops and some great chats within the team.

HI everybody! I was so happy to discover this team. I would say my sewing talents are fairly average, not sure if they'd be good enough to sell on etsy but I am a very big fan of sewing machines, especially antique/vintage ones. If I had a huge house it would probably be filled with them! But since I don't, I have the next best thing - I go out and forage for these wonderful machines and find new homes for them - sometimes the entire machine, sometimes bits and pieces depending how I find them.

I'm always learning from the machines I find and the wonderful people I meet who collect them. It's very satisfying when a machine is matched up with someone who I know will use and really enjoy it. And until I find it a home, I get the pleasure of enjoying it in my house for a while.
