Halloween is approaching! What outfits are you making?

I'm making a few tiered ruffle dresses with some adorable fabric, however ideas for appliques on the chest is a hard decision.. I'm thinking a pumpkin or witches hat! Still haven't decided..

Capes and matching masks, belts and wrist bands. The cape is made of satin and the rest are made out of felt.

OWLS!!! Lots of owls...and then whatever my son wants to be...(he hasn't decided yet...but he's not even two...I doubt he'll ever really decide...I guess I haven't decided what he'll be)

Today I;m starting on a costume for my granddaughter. She wants to be the lady on "Underworld" the movie. Kate Beckingsale. We have the shiny tight pants, a corset with buckles, a long sleeve mock turtle neck top, long coat coots with buckle and black hair. Never mind that her hair is blonde. She'll look washed out. Isn't thats how a vampire should look?

Halloween is the best time to design one of a kind costumes. I think we will add some owls to our outfits- *Just bought a new embroider machine havnt opened the box yet a little shy about the operations part dont want to make mistakes but that is how we learn right!? Mechelle- sounds like your granddaughters costume is going to be pretty amazing and yes the washout look is playing the part well.
