Do You Press Items Before Shipping?

While pressing an order a while ago, I got to wondering, "How many other s who sew for their Shops do that?" I like to, because to me the first impression means a lot, and by the time I'm done sewing an item it might have fine wrinkles just from being handled a lot - even if it's polyester/cotton, as this item is. I'm also perfectionistic about packing items, folding them neatly.

I don't mean this as a put-down for those who aren't so neat about the whole thing. I'm just curious.

I do a lot of sewing but that is not my business. For me it would be important to press. Many hours have gone into the garment, and not to press would be not completing the job properly.
Plus I would like to receive a nicely pressed and well presented garment. The idea I am sure is to get repeat customers.

For my other shop-- I sew.... I always press items before they are shipped.
Sure shipping might do some wrinkle damage-- but the average person can tell if that is what happened vs someone who didn't do their best 1st to make it perfect.

I always press when finished as well as pressing every seam as it is sown!
