Social Networking for our Etsy Shops: Tips and Questions

Instagram, Wanelo, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, etc. So many sites, so little time.

Which one(s) do you use? Do they work well for you? How do they work on your tablet? How much work is it? Have an issue? This is the place!

Michi, I've wondered about that site also. When I'm searching comps, it will pop up, but ask me to sign in to see a price, which I haven't done.

I have been working on social media a lot lately. So far Instagram seems to be the best then Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook and in last place wanelo and stumbleupon.

I am in kind of a slow rut. Only one sale in the last 7 days. Uhg

The short answer:

The best times to post on Facebook: 1–4 p.m. late into the week & weekends.

Other social media:
Saturday and Sunday at 12–1 p.m.
Thursday and Friday at 1–4 p.m.
Wednesday at 3 p.m.

To install the IG app on an iPad:

1) Go to the app store & search IG in the search bar top right corner
2) When the search results appear, go to the upper left corner. Click on "iPad Only▼"
3) Click the option "iPhone" only.
4) IG app appears. Install/open as you normally would.

I mainly use Facebook (both personal and business pages) and Pinterest (personal page) to promote. I cut back on Twitter a few years ago, but I still post there too.
