Does anyone know - up in the right hand corner of your tictail site it says followers and has a number I have had 3 for a while now it says 4, however I have no idea how to see who it is, no notifications.
Does anyone know how it works?

Good news Tictail now supports sales tax for US-

We now support US state-based tax, you can access your settings under Settings > Payment, Shipping & Legal! :)

This I didn't know either-you can set per country which helps a little.... they said they are now working on shipping, several people suggested the type of shipping Etsy has, cross your fingers,:)

I'm pretty sure the followers get an email notification when you list a new item.

Yes it says get updates and you add your email address. Maybe it's linked to the promote new item button.

I got a new button this morning 'get useful insights about your customers' but its a paid one @ $5 a month. With a 30 free trial. Wonder if its for views or only sales.

Sorry guys, I haven't been following this thread for a bit.

I have been trying to close my Tictail store but they want to leave the subdomain landkbeads.tictail.com active and it has my banner on it with the words that "We're working on our Tictail store". Not what I want, but hopefully they will delete the subdomain and any images I uploaded there.

If there's something urgent you can convo me to tell me to look in the thread!

Linda Why are you wanting to close? They are about to add better shipping and they now do tax, I haven't gotten in there yet to do it, though I did add a few new products today.

Oh, it's a super great site and I loved the way my store looked, I'm just spread too thin, that is all.

Well, that I sold absolutely nothing on the site so I decided to do my target marketing elsewhere. I do actually have a standalone and Tictail for all intents and purposes is a standalone. You have to drive the traffic to the site.

ETA: I will say that the one thing I did not like was that they charge you monthly for features and sometimes those are spendy. It's how they and the people who design the features get paid.

Yeah they are pricy! I am happy we are able to do a bit with the HTML there (not that I know how with out help) but that is cool.

Hey Sharon I tried to go to your store and sign up to follow you but it looks like you are working on it ...its set to private.

I am going to load a new product and we can then see if you get a notice. And I am also going to try adding Google analytic... wish me luck

Hi I put my shop on private as I am off on holiday tomorrow and not back until Wednesday next week, not that I would expect a sale but best to be prompt than have a customer unhappy.

I was wondering if anyone can help me . I hadn't realized I could set up separate shipping for international and I am trying to set it up now

- I can't figure out what I am doing wrong,

(I have 5.50 flat rate USA) 3- 10 days ( would like to list Canada separate also, though I haven't yet )

This is what I have in the next field -

Choice -

Is it because I put Entire World? does that negates USA?
I can't figure it out, I have been doing it over and over what did you put?

Sorry, I don't have any knowledge about this since shipping wasn't a thing when I had a shop there.

However, sometimes there's a character requirement that isn't disclosed very well. Make sure there are only letters in the field, play with caps or not, and play with length either shorter or longer. Good luck.

- except Canada shipping still doesn't show! (at least to not to me it doesn't...) weird because it excepted my entry for Canada ... isn't it crazy, it can be the smallest thing!

Hey guys, don't get excited yet but I am trying out an over-lay with presto stores, trying to use their cart so I can have all the stuff I need for a wholesale website, I am experimenting on my SisterMoonsCastle.com site right now -
with just a section link that says SilverMoonBrassCo Wholesale to see if it can be done as that site is live and has stuff on it.... very interesting, if it DOES work it will cost me 19.99 a month.

Don't know if I can get away with it on that site may have to use my other tictail site that is unused and set to private... it would be cool though.

I'll be bock (as Arnold would say) :~)

Wow I have been messing with it that cart, it has every thing you could need, you can put your banner, your look, very interesting and pretty easy to set up, its very intuitive I can even do it good instructions.

I just don't know how to put the over lay link ...and I am am getting burnt out !
Maybe I will one of you guys - Jerry or Linda tomorrow can help me figure it out I am VERY interested in this!

To connect presto cart ( I am doing the free trail to ck it out (unlimited space and products) and you have to have a blank page on tictail you can put your link on

Here's the link to how to create custom pages

It's a little bit of work, but can be done. Once you create the page and set it up you can do pretty much whatever you like.

I am researching carefully for my future plan - which might be of interest to some of you with multiple stores... Today I am looking into *shop integrator*, what is interesting about it is that I can combine all my stores into this cart if I like it ( the cart setup can be made with your own 'Look'
you can make it simple and classy, all stores would use same cart /look, (your branding) 100,000 items top tier is 65.38 you can work your way up in fees - but not all tiers have same features, but I think the demo has all features and you could go with the 31.48 tier to start after you finish up your 30 days trial - http://www.shopintegrator.com/.../ecommerce-plugin-store...

Well they are very open to their sellers learning html and learning to build/ add to their sites easily and you get total access to the html so if it is possible ... then probably you could.

I was trying to add code from presto cart to do the link to my presto shopping cart and so far am having a tough time - I was able to add a page (wholesale products) but no luck getting the linking part. 'YET' ,:)


Also experimenting with Mals cart which is free, I am just messing around as I find time...
