I love Gemstones -Cutting, buying and selling... its all fun!
I have had many facetting machines but I mostly use a Diamond Genie these days and do cabachons. We can talk on all aspects of Gemstones and beads. Beads can also cover so many areas. even handmade beads as my Daughter makes. She does Boro Beads.. and puts gilson Opals in them.. really hot!

I love beads, especially natural stone beads, and could spend all day looking at them!

Does anyone here make carved flower shaped beads out of natural stone? I would love to see it! I promise not to drool on it!!

I don't know of anyone who carves rock.
I've seen some nice stuff on ebay. I have also purchased from that seller too. IF you want the link to there ebay just convo me.

The best I do is shape a heart before I tumble. Its my process.....I can't re coup the time I spend cutting and polishing a fine cab, so I cut, shape and sometimes bash then tumble to a mirror finish.
