How has 2015 been for your Etsy shop?
Have you reached some goals this year that you had put in place?

I never paid much attention to my Etsy shop and have been focusing on it a little more lately. I have had a few sales and the best bit was actually getting one on Christmas Day!
I am giving up work at the end of January so hope I can concentrate more on promotion.

Happy New Year!

2015 was pretty good for my shop. It has taken me a while to really focus my shop into digital download items, which works great for my schedule because I'm now working full-time as a graphic designer. Having digital download items means I can keep my shop as much on "auto-pilot" as possible. It's so streamlined. Only took me a few years, lol.

My goals were pretty low to begin with so I definitely hit them. The biggest goal for me was quietly setting aside part of my sales towards the Breast Cancer Research Foundation: http://www.bcrfcure.org

Which was awesome because I donated more in 2015 vs the previous year! For next year, I want to see some of my old inventory finally move so I can make room for more products, more digital items rather than physical.

I'm still on vacation in beautiful Rio de Janeiro, and sewing altered couture pieces on an old dark green Singer that I bought locally. I've managed to sew 10 different pieces, including 2 dresses, 1 denim overall, 1 skirt, 4 ponchos, and 2 denim jackets and they all look fabulous, specially the dresses that were made from antique crochet tops and vintage linen. I can't wait to list them on my shop!

I did reach my very humble goal of completing 100 sales by the end of
2015 (it took me a while to get there) and my present goal is to double that number by the end of 2016.

I do wish everyone a wonderful year, full of marvelous sales!!!
