Is anyone from West Seattle? I just moved here and *love!* the area and I've been thinking that it would be amazing to get together with a few people and maybe have a coffee or cocktails and crafting day/evening.

Takers?? Anyone from around here, ish?

Hi, Kyrsten. If you sign up for the EtsyRain email via meetup.com, you'll get updates on all the Team get-togethers around town. I can't think of any regular ones that occur in West Seattle, but they're always looking for people to "host" one at a local coffee shop type of place. And welcome! :)

And yes - we are totally needing a host for a West Seattle craft night! I did actually see the Group Meetups on the meetup site, but didn't poke around long enough :) Does anyone who's interested have a certain time/day that works best for them?

Maybe a Wednesday or Thursday night? 7pm ish?

I can work on finding a place to use :) There are a zillion cute little coffee/cupcake type shops around here.

would love to join a meetup group in west seattle. the uptown espresso in north delridge is wonderful if you're looking for a spot- lots of space, parking, never terribly busy. might be worth a shot!

That's a great idea :) That, or the one on California, too. The Delridge one probably has better parking, I've never been there.

Coffee to a Tea on California has a large space in the back for parties/meetings/whatnot, too.

We just need one or two people to agree to be the "host" of the evening, a date, location and time and we can set up a West Seattle event really easily!

Just as a suggestion for timing, scheduling it two weeks ahead of time seems to work the best for most etsyRAINers :)
