Resources for craft fairs in the Seattle area

I know the holiday season is over, so there probably won't be any craft fairs going on in the near future, but I was wondering what resources all of you use to find craft fairs to sell at in the Seattle area.

Are there websites that you can go to? Or list serves to join?

Re: Resources for craft fairs in the Seattle area

Hi Astrid, there are several websites that list local (and national) craft fairs, shows and bazaars. Unfortunately most of ones I've found charge to join, but sometimes you can see the name of the show and the date, then you can google it to find the actual organizer or promoter. Many smaller, local shows are usually locally advertised on Craigslist or other media like this forum on Etsy. Also there are a few organizations that host their own shows, like the Western Washington Gun Collectors. There are also (I know I'm rambling on and not giving too much information, so please bear with me) several flea market type venues that are open every weekend and usually have space available. There is one in Monroe and one in Bellingham that I personally know of. I'll get specific websites and post them here for you.
Good Luck and great success in the New Year!

Re: Resources for craft fairs in the Seattle area

O.K. as promised, here are a few sites where you can find craft fair info:
www.festivalnet.com
www.urbanuprising.com
www.yelp.com (search Seattle craft fairs)
The Seattle Times also publishes a article in Nov (Nov. 18, 2012 for last year) listing most of the local craft fairs scheduled over the holidays.

Hope this helps get you started.

Re: Resources for craft fairs in the Seattle area

Hi again Astrid,
I just found out that the Freighthouse Square in Tacoma has a craft fair every 2nd Saturday of the month. I don't know who to contact yet about it, but I will be going down there on Friday and will get the info. If you're interested, I will forward it to you.
I sell my pens at Cherry Pick Boutique there, that's how I found out about it.
