Craft shows?

Hello,
Just wondering if anyone knows of any smaller shows/markets that might be good for a first timer? I feel like I missed the boat last summer because I didn't apply soon enough. Does anyone have any advice for how to find out about shows and when to apply?
Thanks!
Keri

I'd love to know too if any one knows of summer, fall or Holiday Shows. I keep hoping to see some listed on the Etsyrain website but have not seen anything yet

Re: Craft shows?

One great way to find out what shows people are participating in is to post a question to our community discussion board over at http://meetup.com/etsyRAIN

You can also "like" us on Facebook and then post a question to the community there...that often works as well.

The truth is, this group is mostly just a "first step" in becoming an active member of etsyRAIN! We encourage all etsyRAIN team members to join us on Meetup since we need to run all of our events and activities through that service. We also send out periodic newsletters that include any announcements on calls for artists that we hear about!

Hope to see you at an event sometime soon!
Yours truly,

Re: Craft shows?

I know Renton has a 3 day fair the last weekend of July called the Renton River Days. Kent has one in the middle of July called Kent cornucopia days.

Renton also has a 2 day holiday fair in november.

Hope that helps some.
