Craft Shows

Hello! What are the best craft/art shows in the Seattle and Tacoma area to participate in as a vendor???
I would love to apply to participate in one or two this summer. Thank you!

Re: Craft Shows

Hi Rebecca,
Have you looked into Farmer's Markets that accept crafters in your area?
The summer festivals I attend yearly are; The Festival at Mt. Si in North Bend, Snoqualmie Railroad Days, and the Sandblast Festival in Duvall. Not sure if they're close enough for you.... I do well at them but I've attended them for several years so I've built up some customers. There is a website, festival net.com, that lists numerous events. Good Luck! Jo

Re: Craft Shows

Farmers Markets are really great. I have done several in my area. They aren't too expensive either.

Re: Craft Shows

I recently just got in touch with the chamber of commerce in my area, since I am on the border between Renton and Seattle I decided to email the event planner in Renton and was invited to sell my work. So for anyone curious out there, definitely reach out to the local community about displaying your work for sale!

Re: Craft Shows

I have done the Best of the Northwest. I didn't do last year 2015, but I did the 2 prior years with hand dyed clothing and scarves. The people are very nice but I didn't feel there was enough foot traffic.

In 2015 I did the Bellevue Art Fair (in the parking lot of Cost Plus) that was terrible because it rained. I kinda felt put off of outdoor shows after that. SoI am trying listing some items on Etsy to see how it goes. I would also like to try the Urban Craft Uprising next year. Would love to hear about experiences of anyone whos done it.

Re: Craft Shows

I've done some of the smaller Urban Craft Uprising shows. They are well run shows. I like the Artwalk shows in Pioneer Square the best.
